Bombay native Floyd Cardoz is Executive Chef of North End Grill, part of Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group.

Cardoz attended culinary school in Bombay and continued his education at Les Roches, a hotel management and culinary school in Bluche, Switzerland. In the U.S., Floyd spent five years at Gray Kunz’s Lespinasse, rising from Chef de Partie to Executive Sous Chef and continued on to a 12-year tenure at Tabla, a beloved restaurant celebrating his groundbreaking New Indian cuisine that received numerous accolades from the press (including Three-Stars from The New York Times) and was considered among New York’s most popular restaurants.

Other achievements include authoring a cookbook, receiving the first-ever “Humanitarian of the Year” Award from Food TV and Share our Strength, Top 50 Most Influential Global Indians by GQ Magazine, and, in the Summer of 2012 he won Season Three of Bravo’s Top Chef Masters.
