Korean-American chef David Chang is the Chef/Owner of the expanding Momofuku empire, which recently expanded to Toronto and Sydney.

Before opening Momofuku Noodle Bar in 2004, Chang worked in the kitchens of Jean-Georges Vongerichten, Daniel Boulud and Tom Colicchio. He has been honored with an incredible amount of critical acclaim and awards from Food & Wine: Best New Chef, Bon Appétit: Chef of the Year, three James Beard Awards, and GQ: Man of the Year.

Along with Peter Meehan, Chang published his first cookbook, Momofuku, in 2009 and launched his quarterly print journal, Lucky Peach, in 2011.
